 Osmar (36, Seoul E-Land), a long-serving foreign player in the K League, takes on a new challenge. He debuted at FC Seoul in the 2014 season and played 282 games without moving to another team. However, his contract with Seoul ended at the end of last season, and he had to leave the team. Osmar bid farewell to the players and fans in tears. Initially, the possibility of a transfer to Malaysia was raised, but he suddenly changed his direction to Seoul E-Land.


He recently participated in the 2024 K-League Winter Training Media Camp held in Seogwipo, Jeju, and said, “I was so sad when I had to suddenly leave the team,” and said, “Now, my family and I are spending happy days. “I had mixed emotions for a month, like I was riding a roller coaster, but looking back now, I think it was a good experience.”

Osmar spent 9 seasons in the K-League, but this is his first time in K-League 2. Seoul E-Land has coach Kim Do-gyun at the helm and has brought in players who are also known in the K League 1, such as Kim Young-wook, Kim O-gyu, and Jeong Jae-yong. Challenge for promotion on the 10th anniversary of founding.
