Cheonan City FC recruits veteran center back Ma Sang-hoon

Cheonan City FC, a professional soccer team, strengthened its defensive line by recruiting Ma Sang-hoon (32), a veteran center back and famous for his fighting spirit.

Ma Sang-hoon joined Gangwon FC in 2011 and played in a total of 87 games in the K League, playing for Jeonnam Dragons, Suwon FC, Sangju Sangmu (currently Gimcheon Sangmu), and Seongnam FC.

He also has experience playing overseas, playing for Big Bang Chula United (Thailand) in 2013 and 2016, and Hong Kong Rangers (Hong Kong) last year.

Ma Sang-hoon's strengths include a tough and tenacious defense with solid physical strength. Kim Tae-wan (52) has experience working with coach Cheonan City at Sangju Sangmu in 2018, so it is expected that he will adapt quickly to tactics.

Sang-Hoon Ma expressed his feelings about joining the team, saying, “I am very happy to return to the K-League and work with coach Tae-wan Kim, whom I respect.”

He said, “As a senior, I will work hard and dedicate myself to the team so that all players can be well absorbed into the coach’s soccer style. “I will definitely show the fans the soccer that the coach wants,” he said.
