Hong Chang-gi 2 RBI, Moon Bo-kyung 2 hits

 The LG Twins trained for the first game of the virtual Korean Series in an evaluation match with Sangmu.  

LG won 4-2 in a practice game (7 innings) against Sangmu held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 31st. 

Kelly, who started as a starting pitcher, allowed 2 hits, 5 strikeouts, and 1 run (unearned) in 3⅓ innings (46 pitches). He hit a top speed of 145km and threw 12 four-seamers, 10 two-seamers, 11 sliders, 9 curves, and 4 changeups. Austin hit a home run in two consecutive practice games. Hong Chang-gi and Moon Bo-kyung each recorded two hits. 

It was the first game of the virtual Korean Series. Ace Kelly, who started Game 1, took the mound as the starting pitcher. On this day, he threw about 50 pitches and was scheduled to take the mound as a starter after resting 6 days until Game 1 of the Korean Series. Choi Won-tae, who was designated as the starter for the second game, is scheduled to pitch as the starter in the evaluation match against Sangmu on November 1st. 

LG's starting lineup included players who will actually start in Game 1 of the Korean Series. Hong Chang-ki (right fielder), Park Hae-min (center fielder), Kim Hyun-soo (designated hitter), Austin (first baseman), Oh Ji-hwan (shortstop), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Park Dong-won (catcher), Moon Seong-ju (left fielder), and Shin Min-jae (second baseman) participated. The full starting lineup played for the first time in the fourth practice game held at the training camp that began on the 19th. 

LG Lee Jae-won played as the No. 1 designated hitter in the Sangmu lineup. Numbers 2 to 9 are Sangmu players. Han Tae-yang (shortstop), Heo In-seo (catcher), Jo Se-jin (left fielder), Park Seung-gyu (center fielder), Kwon Dong-jin (third baseman), Jeong Min-gyu (first baseman), Lee Joo-hyung (right fielder), and Lee Hae-seung (second baseman) participated. The Sangmu team pitchers were pitched by LG players. The starting pitcher is Lee Sang-young. 

Kelly struck out Jaewon Lee in the first inning on a missed swing with a breaking ball. Han Tae-yang hit a left-field double. With one out and one on second base, Heo In-seo was struck out and Jo Se-jin was blocked with a ground ball to shortstop without allowing a run. 

In the second inning, leadoff hitter Park Seung-gyu struck out and Kwon Dong-jin had a heavy hit, but shortstop Jeong Min-gyu ended the inning with a grounder double play. 

In the third inning, Kelly caught Lee Joo-hyung with a fly ball to center field and struck out Lee Hae-seung and Lee Jae-won in succession. After one out in the fourth inning, Heo In-seo was hit by a batted ball and sent out a runner due to an error. As the number of pitches reached 46, he was replaced by Lee Woo-chan. Lee Woo-chan struck out Jo Se-jin and allowed Park Seung-gyu to hit an RBI double that hit the top of the left fence. It was Kelly's fault. 

LG's Hong Chang-ki and Park Hae-min were out in the bottom of the first inning, and Kim Hyun-soo reached base with a hit to right, but the inning ended with Austin's grounder to third base.

In the second inning, leadoff hitter Oh Ji-hwan was out with a fly ball to right field. Moon Bo-kyung got on base with a heavy hit and was out after failing to steal second base. Park Dong-won walked, and Moon Seong-ju walked out after being hit in the back by pitcher Lee Sang-young's 139km fastball. With 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd base, Shin Min-jae hit a timely hit to left to score the first run. When the home throw was made, runners advanced to third and second base. With 2 outs and 2nd and 3rd bases, Hong Chang-gi brought both runners home with a hit in front of left field. 3-0 lead. 

In the 3rd inning, Kim Hyun-soo, Austin, and Oh Ji-hwan were all out due to outfield fly balls. In the 4th inning, Moon Bo-kyung reached base with a single, but was tagged out at second base after being caught by the pitcher's first base catch. Park Dong-won and Moon Seong-ju repeatedly hit fly balls to left field. 

LG bullpen pitcher Jung Woo-young took the mound in the top of the sixth inning. Kim Beom-seok, who came on as a pinch hitter, was outed with a ground ball to second base. 

He then hit a heavy hit from Han Tae-yang that went past the pitcher and passed the second base. Heo In-seo guided the pitcher's ground ball with a 148km two-seam and turned it into a double play that led to 2nd and 1st base.  토토

For LG, Austin came out as the leadoff hitter in the bottom of the 6th inning and hit a solo home run over the left field fence against Dong-Hyun Seong. He hit Seong Dong-hyun's fastball (147.6 km) and hit a home run with an exit speed of 160.2 km and a distance of 116 m. 

On the 29th, Austin hit a solo home run that went over the left-center wall against Ko Woo-seok in the 9th inning of the Blue and White game. He is showing a good sense of hitting with two home runs in a practice game in a row. 

Sangmu counterattacked against LG pitcher Kim Jin-su in the 7th inning. Leadoff hitter Jo Se-jin reached base with a double to left, and Park Seung-gyu hit 4-2 with a timely hit to left. Kwon Dong-jin's one-bound hit was slightly over the height of first baseman Jeong Ju-hyun and became a right-handed hit. Chance for 1st and 3rd bases with no outs. 

Jin-su Kim struck out Min-gyu Jeong, got 2 outs on Lee Joo-hyung's sacrifice fly to center field, and allowed one more run. He then caught Lee Hae-seung with a fly ball to center field and maintained the 4-3 lead.
