Choo Shin-soo said, “I first started this program after hearing the stories of families of police officers and firefighters who died in the line of duty, as well as single-parent families, and with the desire to help them even a little, and I am proud to be able to deliver the donations I accumulated while playing games throughout the season. “I hope that the donations will go to those who really need them and provide them with practical help and even a little happiness,” he said.

Choo Shin-soo has donated a total of 1.259 billion won to the underprivileged in the region through a donation program that has been running for three years, and has continued to do good deeds both inside and outside the baseball field, such as deciding to fully sponsor five years of rehabilitation treatment for a paraplegic UFC player.
