Fujitsu and Denso defeated Chanson and ENEOS,

Fujitsu and Denso showed their might as top teams in the semifinals.

Fujitsu Red Wave, ranked first in the W League regular season this season, secured an advantageous position in advancing to the finals with a 73-59 victory over Chanson V Magic in the 2023-2024 W League semifinal playoff game held at the Musashinomori Sports Plaza in Tokyo on the 6th. I guessed it.

The person who led Fujitsu's victory that day was Yuki Miyazawa (183cm, PF). He led Fujitsu to victory by recording a double-double with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists in 34 minutes and 26 seconds.

In addition, shooting guard Saki Hayashi recorded 4 3-pointers to support the team with 12 points and 3 rebounds, while point guard Rui Machida, who is active in the WNBA and the Japanese national team, coordinated the game with 5 points, 9 rebounds, and 17 assists.

Chanson's mixed-race player Isoje Uche scored 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Koike Haruka recorded 13 points and 5 assists, but failed to overcome Fujitsu's wall.

Fujitsu took advantage of Miyazawa's inside play from the first quarter.

Miyazawa devastated Chanson's inside by freely scoring under-the-goal points through post-ups and pivots, and second-chance points following offensive rebounds. In addition, they recorded four 3-point shots and literally launched a wave of attacks from the inside and outside, destroying Chanson's defense.

Fujitsu's 2-point shot success rate was only 37.8% on this day, but it defeated Chanson by recording a whopping 50.0% 3-point shot success rate.

Chanson was unable to control Miyazawa and suffered a loss in scoring, with only a 31.5% (17/54) 2-point success rate in attack.

Meanwhile, in the previously held match between Denso Iris and ENEOS Sunflowers, Denso won 77-58, earning the first win.

Denso's two big men, Maki Takada (15 points) and Himawari Akaho (13 points, 13 rebounds), reliably guarded the goal, and 165cm point guard Ami Kimura recorded 4 3-pointers at every corner, scoring 12 points and 6 assists. Ollie won through his performance.

Short shooting guard Yurina Watabe also supported the team with 10 points and 2 assists, including 2 3-pointers.

ENEOS lost with Ramu Tokashiki scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds and Sayaka Okamoto scoring 12 points, but Moeko Nagaoka scoring only 11 points and 9 rebounds, and point guard Saori Miyazaka scoring 9 points.
