Daegu simultaneously recruits Japanese midfielder Yoshino and defender Go Myeong-seok

 K League 1 Daegu FC strengthened its midfield and defense at the same time.


Daegu announced on the 5th that it had recruited Japanese midfielder Yoshino (29) from Yokohama FC and defender Go Myeong-seok (28) from Suwon Samsung.

Yoshino took his first steps into the professional ranks at Tokyo Verdi in 2013, and has since played for Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Kyoto Sanga and Vegalta Sendai before playing for Yokohama FC.

Daegu said of Yoshino, “As a defensive midfielder, he has stable defensive ability as well as forward drive,” and added, “Yoshino, who can also play as a central defender, is expected to help increase the team’s power with his smart and fighting play.” .

Yoshino, a veteran who played 198 games in the J-League, said, “When I was with the Japanese team, I played against Daegu at DGB Daegu Bank Park, and it feels new to wear the Daegu uniform.” He added, “I will play hard for Daegu fans in the future, so please support me.” “I give it to you,” he said about joining the team.

Go Myeong-seok, who played for Suwon Samsung until last season, also joined Daegu. Go Myung-seok, who debuted at Bucheon FC in 2017, played for Daejeon Citizen (currently Daejeon Hana Citizen), Sangju Sangmu (currently Gimcheon Sangmu), and Suwon Samsung. Including his appearance in 22 league games last season, his K-League career record is 6 goals in 145 games.

Daegu said of Go Myung-seok, “Based on his good physical condition of 189 cm and 80 kg, he has excellent physical fighting ability and ability to control aerial balls,” and added, “He is also a central defender whose characteristic is to neutralize opposing attackers with his speed.”
