Danawa Esports Championship… ‘PUBG’ stands tall as the world’s strongest team

Danawa Esports won the championship by registering their name in the highest place on the third day of the 'PUBG Global Championship 2023 (PGC 2023)' Grand Final at the Central Latprao Bangkok Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand on the 3rd (local time).

In overall points, Twisted Minds maintained first place with 116 points, and Danawa maintained second place with 109 points. V7 ranked 10th with 73 points, and Gen.G ranked 16th with 43 points.

In game 15, Twisted Minds was out in the early stages with 0 kills, giving Danawa an opportunity to turn things around. However, in the battle with Tylu, all of them fell and finished 6th with 3 kills, failing to gain a large amount of points.

Dnawa, who succeeded in chasing first place Twisted Minds by two points, regained first place by earning a lot of points in 16 games. He won after competing for first place with Pedri Rico Road, earning 10 kill chickens and adding 20 points to move up to first place, earning 134 points. Twisted Mines fell to second place with 117 points.

In the next game, Danawa was out after recording only 1 kill, putting his ranking in danger. Twisted Mines entered the top 4 with 4 kills, but ended up in 4th place after being attacked by other teams. As a result of the game, Danawa maintained first place with 135 points, 17 Gaming took second place with 127 points, and Twisted Minds took third place with 125 points, continuing the competition for the championship trophy.

In the final match, Danawa eliminated the competing teams and took first place on their own. Gen.G and Space Station Gaming attacked 17 Gaming while they were traveling in a vehicle, knocking out all of 17 Gaming. With 17 Gaming, the team competing for the championship, being eliminated, Danawa can win the championship as long as Twisted Minds is concerned.

Danawa won the battle against Twisted Minds and Luminosity Gaming, eliminating both teams and crossing the 9th division of the championship. Danawa, who only recorded 2 kills but eliminated all of the competing teams, was confirmed to win the game even though the match was not over.
