Brazil and Argentina clash again! Challenge for the most wins vs. Grand Slam achievement

 Following the older brothers, the younger brothers also face off. South America's 'eternal rivals' Brazil and Argentina will clash in the semifinals of the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup. We are strengthening our will to win in order to win the championship.


Brazil was confused at the beginning of this tournament. In the first match of the group stage (Group C), they were defeated by Iran 2-3. They changed the mood by defeating New Caledonia 9-0 in the second game of the group stage. They then defeated England 2-1 in the third game and took second place in the group. Argentina also had a bad start to this tournament. They lost 1-2 to Senegal in the first match of the group stage (Group D). We showed our strength from the second game. They defeated Venezuela 5-0 and secured a spot in the quarterfinals.


Brazil and Argentina are challenging new history. Brazil aims to win its fifth U17 World Cup title. We are moving forward to level with Nigeria, which has reached the top five times and is registered as the country with the most wins. Argentina looks to the ‘FIFA Grand Slam’. They have won the Adult World Cup, Olympic Games, and Under-20 World Cup. If they reach the U17 World Cup, they will succeed in conquering the top spot in all World Cup competitions for each age group.


The brothers of Team A faced each other in the 6th round of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 North and Central America World Cup on the 22nd (Korean time). Argentina won 1-0 away. The boys will play the quarterfinals of the 2023 U17 World Cup on the 24th. Brazil is seeking revenge, while Argentina is pledging to achieve another victory.


Meanwhile, the quarterfinals of this tournament will open on the 24th with a big match between 'Invincible Armada' Spain and 'Tank Corps' Germany.
